A movie palace used to be at the corner of Sacramento and Milwaukee. The Logan Square opened in 1913 as a one theater, 1300 seat vaudeville house. With the Paramount (now the Logan Square Theater) down the street and offering four screens instead of one, the Logan Square closed its doors and was demolished. |

When you think of a bathhouse, one of two things may come to mind: “Queer as Folk”, (Brian Kinney; the hero of my own, and I’m sure many other’s, wet dreams.) and the more accurate of the two, a breeding ground for everything we were warned about in high school health class. |
